It is a national requirement for all trainees to complete and submit a Form R ahead of each ARCP. The Form R can be downloaded from the Revalidation page.
To ensure the effectiveness of the ARCP process it is essential that the correct documentation is completed (including signatures) by the published submission date (2 weeks prior to the date of your ARCP).
Please ensure the following processes are completed: -
1. Diarise the date and time.
2. Supply all ARCP documentation by the closing / submission date by uploading all evidence and the ESSR to e-portfolio, and submitting a Form R to Mr Joe Campbell no more than 30 days prior to the date of your ARCP.
3. CVs are to be provided by ST5, 6 & 7 and SpR 3, 4 & 5 only. (All other years do not need to provide a CV)
It is essential that the necessary documentation is returned to Peninsula prior to the deadline as this will enable the documents to be circulated to the panel prior to the ARCP. Failure to do this can result in the assessment not going ahead and the trainee being issued with an unsatisfactory outcome.
The review will chart your progress to date and will identify any specific training needs for the future. The results of the review will be recorded on the ARCP form, copies of which will be sent to you and the Royal College with the original being retained by Peninsula Postgraduate Medical Education in your training record file. We advise that you share the information relating to your ARCP outcome with your Educational Supervisor to facilitate further Educational Supervision.
