Rethinking Statistics and Study Design

This course involves throwing - and hopefully catching - inflatable globes. Three animal spirits will guide your learning: golems; owls; and dogs. During this course you will learn:

  1. Real study design based upon scientific causative principles, structured around directed acyclic graphs;
  2. With methods based upon Bayesian thinking and analysis
  3. With step-by-step coding in R

Learning to code teaches the discipline of precise explicit statements of cause and effect. And if the medical lark doesn't work out, you've generic skills that are valuable in most walks of life.
